Our Programs
At Westwood Day Care and Pre-School Learning Center, our center is divided up into age appropriate classrooms, with a separate building for School Age children. We also have five playgrounds, a lunchroom, a special fenced in area for our splash pools, picnics, tricycle riding and parade fun!
INFANT PROGRAM
- We have two Infant rooms servicing ages Newborn – 1yr. and one Infant room for 1yr old walkers.
- We furnish formula (Parents Choice Brand), baby cereal and baby food.
- Parents may also bring their own formula or breast milk.
- Every month you will fill out a feeding plan to meet the needs of your child.
- We provide blankets, bibs and toys. Parents provide diapers, wipes and extra clothes.
TODDLER PROGRAM
- We have two Toddler rooms servicing ages, approx. 16mos – 2 years.
- Our toddlers enjoy a fun day with a variety of activities that includes music, arts and crafts, learning games and inside and outdoor play.
- We will begin potty training when you think your child is ready!
PRESCHOOL PROGRAMS
- Jr. Preschool Program- 2yr old (Children in this program must be potty trained or at least potty training.
- Preschool – Age 3yr (Must be 3yr on or by Sept. 1)
- Pre-K – Age 4yr (Must be 4yr on or by Sept. 1)
Note - We do not have Georgia funded Pre-K.
At Westwood we offer your child a learning program in addition to full time childcare. We use a curriculum from High Reach Learning. This curriculum is developmentally age appropriate and offers a variety of exciting activities each month. For more information visit their website at http://www.highreach.com/.
SCHOOL-AGE PROGRAM
- Ages Kindergarten – 5th Grade
- Before & After School Program
- We provide transportation to and from the following elementary schools:
- Jordye Bacon, Button Gwinnett, Lyman Hall, Taylor Creek, Waldo Pafford
- After School Pickup only at Frank Long.
- School Agers enjoy a snack, activities, playtime and homework time.
SUMMER SCHOOL-AGE PROGRAM
- We have a fun-filled summer program for Kindergarten – 12 yrs of age.
- Our activities include Vacation Bible School; Swimming lessons; bowling; skating; library; arts & crafts; and a variety of other trips and activities. All field trips are optional and there is a separate fee for each trip.
